SUMMARY:4th Annual Wallowa Alpenrace
DESCRIPTION:Welcome\, to our forth unofficial Alpenrace multi-sport event taking place Saturday\, September  27th at Wallowa Lake Oregon.  Last year we had a great race despite dealing with some intense weather conditions.  This year we will again be handing out trophies (Beer Mugs) at the Alpenfest for best women's and mens individual and teams.  We anticipate that this years participation will continue to grow and we will be keeping the same course from 2013\, please look for more information in the coming months.  \n\n\n\nWe would like to emphasize that this is an unofficial self supported event and all entrants will be responsible for their own support and safety.  In past years we have dealt with varying weather conditions including snow and 90 degree heat.  We are also exited to announce  that this years event will be an official part of Oregon's Alpenfest an Octoberfest style event featuring beer and music please visit the Alpenfest website for more information. \n\n\n\nWe will again have a pre-race meeting and social the night before to socialize and discuss the course. Pre-Race Meeting and Social will be Friday September 26th 5:00 PM. Time and location for 2014 is TBA.\n\n\n\nThis year we will also be offering a Pre-Race Course Inspection on the Saturday prior to the race September 20th
