DESCRIPTION:Brown Bag is a free event that feautre informal presentations and discussions on the first three Tuesday noons of each month.  This week features Laura Lee Yates and her musician partner Harry Harpoon who visited Wallowa County often a decade ago and more. She was a regular at Fishtrap\, and Harry performed at local clubs. He's a harmonica player and Laura Lee is a writer. She's just produced a book and they are coming back to give us a special brown bag production on Tuesday\, August 30\, noon at the Josephy Center. \n\n \n\nExperience the Lewis & Clark Expedition through the eyes and the nose\, ears\, jaws\, paws and heart of Meriwether's enormous Newfoundland dog Seaman. Author/librarian Laura Lee Yates and musician Harry Harpoon present words and songs that offer a lively new look at the bold and perilous journey that changed America. "Bound for the Western Sea: The Canine Account of the Lewis& Clark Expedition" will leave you tapping your toes and hungry for buffalo hump!
