Arnold operated on the Lostine\, where he often crossed paths with Justice William O. Douglas and packed the rich\, the famous\, the curious\, and horse loving backcountry lovers for decades. We'll welcome other packers and others' stories as well\, and set down this piece of Wallowa County history and culture in the Josephy Library archives for our grandchildren to enjoy
