DESCRIPTION:The board of directors of the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance has made a decision hold Wallowa Fiddle Tunes Camp 2021 as a virtual program this July. What has traditionally been a gathering on the campus of the Wallowa School will be adapting to the world of online music instruction. The decision was not made without careful consideration regarding the health and safety of camp participants and our local community.\n\nWhile this is sad news\, we are excited to re-envision what our longstanding music camp could grow to be. We are happy to announce the roster of instructors who will be joining us so far\, on this virtual journey: Matt Bell\, Stuart Mason\, Andy Emert\, Emily Muller-Cary\, John Weed\, Larry Chung\, Carla Arnold and Alan Feves.\n\nStay tuned for all the details\, as we're busy crafting the best way to bring top-quality instruction in traditional string band music. The virtual camp may not take place over the entire week\, but count on at least 3 days (Friday through Sunday\, July 16-18\, 2021) of instruction and fiddle tunes community activities.\n\nUPDATED: Registration will open online April 15 at wvmusicalliance.org.
