Some trips have special entertainment or guest experts.\n\n\n\nAutumn lasts for several weeks\, offering an ever-changing palette of oranges\, golds and burgundy leaves and ending with the showy yellow brilliance of the Western Larch\, a deciduous conifer that is known locally as the Tamarack. The train ride is the same as our Two Rivers run\, departing from Elgin Depot at 10 a.m. and returning at 2 p.m.\, with lunch included and served on the train.
