DESCRIPTION:Fishtrap introduces Fishtrap Fireside\, a monthly event for Wallowa County writers to read and share their work.  Every month\, we light a fire in the fireplace and open the doors for an evening of readings and storytelling. Events highlight three local writers from the area followed by an open mic. We encourage the community to attend these events. Find a seat by the fire\, hear new work by local writers\, and even share a few stories of your own. Fishtrap Fireside takes place the second Friday of the month\, October through April from 7-9pm at the Fishtrap House in Enterprise\, Oregon  Come out to hear the work of local writers\, enjoy some light refreshments\, and bask in the glow from the county's most literary fireplace.  Featured readings will be by Kristy Athens\, Kathy Hunter and Maya Polan.  This is the last chance to share your own story this year!\n\n \n\nSince 1988\, Fishtrap has promoted good writing and clear thinking in the West. Fishtrap.org
