DESCRIPTION:The 13th season of Fishtrap Fireside kicks off on Friday\, October 4 at 7pm featuring readings from Zanni Schauffler\, Trilby Shirley\, and Oregon Book Award winner\, Eliot Treichel.\n\nFireside is a reading series that takes place the first Friday of the month October through April. Each event is designed to celebrate diverse voices from local writers and storytellers. Every month offers a fresh look at what people who live in NE Oregon are thinking about and writing down. \n\nSince the program launched in 2013\, more than 170 people have stepped up to the podium to share their work. Each month\, audiences get to enjoy a variety of creative writing including poetry\, fiction\, history\, humor\, memoir\, adventure\, essay\, travelog\, food stories\, and much more.\n\nFishtrap Fireside takes place at Fishtrap's home on Main Street in Enterprise. Admission is free although donations are always welcome. Light snacks are provided and drinks are available for purchase. For those who can't make it to Enterprise\, anyone anywhere can take in Fireside online at Fishtrap.org and on Fishtrap's YouTube Channel.
