She practices law in New Mexico and has advocated for the rights of Indigenous People before the United Nations and the Organization of American States. June has served as a Judge for 6 Native Nations in New Mexico and has served as legal counsel for both Laguna Pueblo and Navajo Nation\, for the US Senate and US House of Representative committees\, and for the US Department of Justice (Voting Rights). She is also engaged in advocacy on uranium legacy issues\, which are related to the protection of sacred areas.\n\nDr. Lorenzo has served on a number of PC(USA) committees and task forces at the Presbytery\, Synod and General Assembly level.
