DESCRIPTION:Join this trio of experienced artists and learn to make beautiful one-of-a-kind collage papers using acrylic paints and a gel plate. Janis and Lorie will walk the class through a very fun and easy process of gel painting and printing. Even if you have done some Gel Painting before\, they will teach you tips and tricks to add to your repertoire so that you get polished results with a simple process! Then Lizzie will demonstrate how to make a simple book decorated with your prints and how to embellish them with mark making and collage elements.\n\n \n\nExperience Level: All levels of experience are welcome!\n\nMedium: Acrylic paints on paper\n\nOptional items to bring from home: To make your papers more personal consider bringing sturdy florals grasses\, leaves etc. with interesting shapes. For the bookmaking\, feel free to bring whatever paper ephemera bits you might like to use!\n\n \n\nSpaces limited.\n\nPreregistration required.\n\nMaximum Students: 8\n\nMinimum Students: 4\n\n \n\n\n\nLorie is a mom and professor at University of Idaho.
