DESCRIPTION:We all have been feeling the impacts of rising energy prices this past year. The local population went from spending 33 million dollars a year on energy to 46 million dollars\, an increase of 13 million dollars. On Wednesday\, April 12th\, at 5:30 pm at MCrow in Lostine\, our Community Energy Program (CEP)\, in partnership with Energy Trust of Oregon\, will host our 2nd pub talk for the season. There will be representatives from Energy Trust\, WR's CEP\, and others to discuss the history of energy\, what we are doing as a community\, and why a strategic energy plan is crucial.
