SUMMARY:Mid-day Talk: Wallowa Memorial Hospital
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Talk at the Josephy Center will be Dan Grigg\, who has recently taken over as CEO of Wallowa Memorial Hospital. Grigg comes from several years leading rural hospitals in Heppner and Burns\, but before that gained health care administrative experience in a 14-year stint at Trinity Health in Fresno\, California\, and eight years at Salem Hospital. In Salem he concentrated on patient safety and developing hospital clinics.\n\n\n\nDan and his wife Andrea have seven children\, the last of whom recently graduated from high school in Burns. It seemed like a good time for the Griggs to move\, and the first weeks here have been smooth. Grigg says he plans no major shakeups in a hospital that is running well.\n\n\n\nThe Tuesday talk will be a chance for Dan to give his first assessment of the situation at Wallowa Memorial\, and to let the public know about next steps.\n\n\n\nThe conversation with the new hospital director is free and open to the public. Plans are in the works to allow for live streaming.
