SUMMARY:OK Theater Presents: Joni Harms & The Harms Way Band
DESCRIPTION:Joni Harms\, Western Recording Star and her band the Harms will perform a Fundraising Benefit Concert for the VFW Relief Fund.  The VFW Relief Fund is tasked with assisting active duty service members and their families during times of financial hardship. The winter of 2016 through 2017 was an especially hard time for many of these Wallowa County families and the Eagle Cap VFW Post 4307 was there to provide the help when called upon. The fund paid out almost $7000 last year in benefits. This benefit concert will help raise money to replenish this fund in preparation for the coming year.  The August 9 concert will feature Joni Harms and The Harms Way Band performing at 8pm\, with Wallowa  County's own Jessie Borgerding playing an opening set at 7pm. Doors open at 6\, refreshments available. Anyone wishing to make an additional contribution to support this effort can make a check payable to VFW Post 4307.
