SUMMARY:Tunesmith Night
DESCRIPTION:Tunesmith Night is held every second Saturday\, October through May\, this monthly showcase of original music is an opportunity for songwriters to present their work to a supportive listening audience\, sharing insights with the listeners and camaraderie with their fellow tunesmiths. The show is presented in a round-robin format\, with each musician playing a song\, then the next taking a turn\, creating an interesting and varied performance. Doors open at 6pm\, music at 7pm\, all ages welcome. This month features: Edmund Wayne\, Mike Cramer and Brent Wydrinski\n\n\n\nEdmund Wayne is the disguise of musician/organic farmer\, Curt Krause. His intimate vocals and dynamic song structure keep your full attention. His music is well described by fellow musician Gregory Rawlins\, who says\, "Edmund Wayne regards the listener with great compassion and reverence--as though his songs are incomplete without you. You help rustle the leaves\, sway the pines\, and litter the streets with painful memories and a brighter tomorrow." Krause resides in Snohomish\, Washington with his wife and three legged cat.\n\n \n\nMany years ago in a world almost forgotten\, Mike Cramer began his professional music career as a "single entertainer\," traveling the northwest on the Red Lion and Sandpiper circuits. It wasn't long before Mike\, like most aspiring musicians\, had to choose the road\, or the family. The road lost. Forty years later\, his family raised\, Mike returned to his forsaken passion and is making every effort he can to write songs\, perform them and generally make up for lost time. His songs fall in a genre of their own kind of a "Soft-country Americana." His voice and style is unique and strong\, often compared to Gordon Lightfoot's. Mike is a regular performer throughout the Boise music scene and is an active member of the Idaho Songwriters Association.\n\n \n\nEnterprise resident Brent Wydrinski is pleased to share the Tunesmith stage again after nearly five years\, playing a mix of ukulele\, loop pedal\, and guitar. The stylings ranging from love songs\, to hip-hop\, to folk. Brent's non music life includes working with the youth at Building Healthy Families\, getting engaged\, and loving snow. He is happy to have returned from the frozen tundra that is Antarctica\, where he was heralded as the greatest ke$ha cover band drummer of the entire continent.\n\n\n\nTunesmith Night is presented in a round-robin format\, with each musician playing a song\, then the next taking a turn\, creating an interesting and varied performance. Admission is $10 at the door or by season pass. Doors open at 6pm\, music at 7pm\, all ages welcome. As always\, hosts Steve and Cathi Lear invite you to enjoy this superb music event\, where patrons are encouraged to sample the delicious cuisine Lear's Main Street Grill has to offer\, including a nice selection of beer\, wine\, and mixed drinks.
