DESCRIPTION:Announcing the 9th annual Hootenanny & Shoo-fly Pie Social! It's the annual spring fundraiser for the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance -- Making Music Matter! The event will stream live on the WVMA website (http://wvmusicalliance.org) at 4pm PDT. We've rounded up our all-star cast of Wallowa County musicians to present a VIRTUAL showcase of songs around this year's theme\, Remembering John Prine. We are paying tribute to one of America's best loved songwriters and performers\, whose music has touched the lives of many. And we haven't forgotten what has always made our Hootenanny extra enticing...PIE! This year\, since we are not yet able to gather in person\, we'll be auctioning off a hand full of choice homemade pies online during the music. We are recruiting delicious and mouthwatering pie goodness from past Shoo-fly Pie contest winners and other master bakers\, so tune in and bid on your favorite!\n\n \n\nPerformers at Sunday's event include Bart Budwig and Jen Borst\, Janis Carper\, Margo Cilker\, Alyssa Werst-Daggett and Dave Staigle\, Ted Hays\, Carolyn Lochert\, Ghost Wind\, Heidi Muller and Bob Webb\, Brian Oliver\, Nick Porter\, John Raines\, Mike Straw and June Colony\, Rich and Trilby Shirley\, and Laura Skovlin.
