SUMMARY:Virtual Tunesmith Night
DESCRIPTION:The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance continues their 16th season of Tunesmith Night - a showcase of original music\, now with a live in-person audience for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic started.\n\n \n\nThe unique appeal of presenting three songwriters\, sharing their original work in an intimate a round- robin format is core to the program\, and the musicians will be performing live\, safely distanced\, in the historic Enterprise Odd Fellows Hall. The show will also be streamed live to WVMA's YouTube channel and the Music Alliance website.\n\n \n\nThe December 11 show features songwriters Meredith Lane\, Jeremy James Meyer\, and Brittany Brook. Doors open at 6:30pm with the performance starting at 7pm PST. Admission is $10 per person. Proof of COVID vaccination and mask will be required for attendance.\n\n \n\nMeredith Lane is a singer/songwriter who grew up playing and writing music in Enterprise Oregon. Her newest album Commissioned Love Songs was released in early November as her first fully original album. She enjoys crossing genres\, and wants to experiment with different sounds in the near future. She is currently living in Moscow Idaho\, where she plays gigs from time to time.\n\n \n\nJeremy James Meyer is an artificer of song. A songwriter's songwriter. He crafts redemptive songs full of woody rock 'n' roll tones. His experiences with hard work\, the road\, and the expansive natural vistas of the American west become his songs. He spent the last decade drifting around\, a tool belt troubadour\, working carpentry by day\, bringing folk music to the people at night. As with most well-traveled songwriters it's hard to tell where the road ends and Jeremy James Meyer begins. His songs seamlessly blend plain-language and poetic lyricism. They wander from personal truth to outlaw legends. He's capable of cathartic protest songs\, cosmic country canticles\, and dive bar sing-a-longs. Hand him a life of experiences\, and he will meet them with wisdom and wit\, and leave us all a legacy of music and poetry--a legacy which is just beginning to unfold.\n\n \n\nBrittany Brook is a Montana-made singer-songwriter\, actor-musician and the Founder and CEO of Moonshadow Music LLC a family music business that is spreading the news that music belongs to everyone! Through Moonshadow\, Brittany teaches private guitar\, ukulele\, songwriting\, and LIVE sing-alongs around her and her guitar for kids\, families and folx of all ages! Moonshadow just released a Mr. Rogers-style YouTube series for kids called\, "The Moonshadow Show" along with a season soundtrack on Spotify\, Apple Music\, and anywhere you listen to music! Brittany loves more than anything to share her original music and poetry with you.
