DESCRIPTION:Join us today for our weekly\, "Walk with a Doc". Dr. Emily Sheahan\, Medical Director of Community Health\, will be leading the walk and discussing a different topic each week. Today's topic is\, "Exercise: An Effective Prescription for Joint Pain".\n\n\n\nThe group will meet in front of the hospital at 12:30 p.m. and Dr. Sheahan will host a brief discussion regarding the health topic. After the discussion\, the group will head out on the walking path that encircles the hospital campus. This loop is approximately half a mile long\, flat\, and well-equipped with resting benches along the way. This walk is appropriate for all fitness levels!\n\n\n\nDuring the walk\, Dr. Sheahan is available and ready to answer your general health and well-being questions. She will not be answering any personal health questions that would be better addressed in a clinical appointment to protect your privacy.\n\n\n\nThere are 100s of benefits of walking regularly.
