DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 6th the Wallowa County Food System Council will host a planning meeting to review community food activities from the past year\, and set priorities and activities for the coming year. The council is an ad-hoc group of organizations and individuals working to improve food access\, education and business opportunities in Wallowa County. Past activities have included community gardens\, food preservation and cooking classes\, farm-to-school field trips and garden education\, and farmer/rancher network and farmers market support. Anyone interested in food system development is welcome to attend.
