DESCRIPTION:Wallowa Lake State Park En Plein Air Painting Event\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, September 7\, 2013\, several regional en plein air artists will be creating paintings at various locations in the state park\, depicting its beauty and character. As the artists complete their paintings\, they will bring them to the Painting Event display tent at the end of the day use parking lot\, where they will be framed and displayed for public viewing.\n\n\n\nFrom 9 am to approximately 2 pm\, visitors are invited to watch the artists creating their works of art\, and from approximately 2:30-4 pm\, to attend the art show and vote for their favorite painting.\n\nAwards will be announced at 4 pm.\n\nFor information about this en plein air event\, contact Leslie LeViner at 541-426-5883.\n\n \n\nThis event is one of the several "Art in the Parks" events hosted by Wallowa Lake State Park in 2013 and 2014.
