DESCRIPTION:Are you horrified by bugs?  Thrilled and fascinated?  All of the above?  \n\n\n\nWell\, Wallowa Land Trust has a special outing just for you!  This coming Saturday 7/8 we are lucky enough to have TWO entomologists lead us on a wee adventure into the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest (Sled Springs) to learn all about insects and how they play a role in forest ecology.  It is going to be fascinating\, interesting and fun.  And you won't have to eat a single bug unless you want to.  \n\n \n\nPlease let me know if you would like to join us so we can get a head count.  Please forward this email to anyone you think might be interested in joining us.\n\nWe'll meet at the Land Trust office at 9AM.  \n\n \n\nFUN FACTS: \n\n	Butterflies taste with their feet\n	Dragonflies can travel up to 60 mph\n	The praying mantis is the only insect that can turn its head\n	There are more insects in one square mile of rural land than there are human beings in the world\n\nJoin entomologists Diane Knox and Jim Hansen for a walk on the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest to learn about insects!
