The 2017 Conference is a one-day event held simultaneously in 39 locations throughout Washington\, Idaho\, Oregon\, Montana and Alaska. In 2016\, over 600 women at 27 locations gathered to learn\, network and be inspired be one of the women in agriculture who attends this year!\n\n\n\nFeatured Speakers\n\nBoth of our 2017 speakers\, Alexis Taylor\, Oregon Department of Ag Director\, and Anne Schwartz\, Blue Heron Farm owner\, will inspire participants to strengthen their leadership skills\, become leaders in their communities\, become more involved with long-time farmers and guide and mentor new farmers.\n\nPanel\n\nEach event location will have a panel of local women farmers who will talk about their leadership roles\, the challenges they have faced and how they have used a mentor to develop their skills. For the event in la Grande the live panel will feature Stephanie Rovey\, Rovey Farms\; and Kristy Athens\, author of Get Your Pitchfork On!: The Real Dirt on Country Living\n\n\n\nParticipants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact.
