An Evening with Rumi

The International Day of Peace Committee of Wallowa County presents:  An Evening with Rumi.  People the world over consider Jalaluddin Rumi, the 13th century poet and spiritual guide, to be the foremost poet of all time. The delights of his poetic work dig deep within the soul of the listener or reader and bring refreshment.   Joseph Newcomer, pastor of Enterprise Community Church and a devotee of Rumi, will lead a session of poetry readings and short films about his life and work.  Be sure to be in attendance and bring a favorite Rumi poem to share!  Light beverages will be served.
