Batik: An Age-Old Dye Job

Instructor TBA, July 15-16, Saturday-Sunday, 9am to 5pm each day. Use old batik stamps or free-hand your design once you learn to combine the colors. Students will design one block to take home and one for a raffle quilt for the school. Examples to see in the school right now. Quilt hanging in auditorium-- sixth grade class Ione Elementary, Ione OR learned to do batik with the sun being the only requirement for their block. All materials will be provided; $5 materials fee. Register by July 13.
