| BLADESMITH BEGINNINGS Taught by Nathan Thompson of Rusty Hammer Forge, Pomeroy WA Learn the basics of blade smithing, to include steel identification, snap test method, forging and refining the blade profile, heat treatment process, quenching methods, tempering, handle construction and finish grinds and sanding. Recommended, but not required, that you have a beginning blacksmith class before taking the bladesmith class.
