Brown Bag Lunch

Brown Bag is a free event that feature informal presentations and discussions on the first and third or more, Tuesday noons of each month.  This week features Caryn Appler & Susan Badger-Jones from Energy Trust of Oregon and will be joined by Jared Hillock who has guided solar installations at many home and business properties over the past several years, with a program on Home energy Efficiency.  They will discuss national trends in energy efficient residential construction and explain the science behind the components that make a more energy efficient home. 
 
If you plan to build or buy in the next 18 months, remember that  purchasing or building an energy efficient home is more than just saving money on your utility bill. It is about having a higher quality, better performing home that is more comfortable for you and your family. And, if you are already in your home, explore making it more efficient.
