Celebration of Life- Eve Slinker

We will celebrate her life and work at the Josephy Center. A long-time Wallowa County resident, Eve passed away recently in Salem. Eve painted chickens, sheep and homesteads, Snake River canyons and Wallowa Mountains, thunderstorms and sunny days, mostly with water colors. With Dave Jensen, Gary Wishart, and Ted "Olaf" Juve, she founded, exhibited in, and recruited artists for the Skylight Gallery. Eve was also a founding board member of the WAllowa Valley and Eastern Oregon arts councils, Fishtrap, and WAllowa Resources, and she served two terms on the Oregon Arts Commission. There will be light refreshments and a bit of music by her close friend, Gail Swart. And several Eve Slinker paintings will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to the Josephy Center.
