Divide Camp Open House Featuring Local Author

Divide Camp Open House features local author and veteran Keith Kirts.  He will read from one of his novels in conjunction with the countywide Big Read Event with Vietnam War as its setting. Guests are also invited to visit the photographic display "Exit Wounds" by Jim Lommasson.  This display is part of Fishtrap's 2017 big Read event based on the book "The Things They Carried".  Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan answered a request by Lomasson for photos from their deployments.  More than 1,000 photos mounted on wall hangings capture the camaraderie, the work and the pathos of serving in combat.  Refreshments will be served.
