Eagle Cap Excursion Train/Two Rivers Earlybird

This ride follows the same route as our standard trip, but leaves the depot an hour earlier. The train operates on a roadless stretch of the historic Joseph Branch Railroad track, following the Grande Ronde River downstream from Elgin, crossing the bridge at Rondowa, traveling up the Wallowa River a few miles to Vincent. Departing from Elgin Depot at 9 a.m. and returning at about 1 p.m., with a box lunch included and served on the train.  Miles traveled = 40
