Fishtrap Fireside

Fishtrap Fireside  takes place the second Friday of Every month October through April.  An open mic reading follows where audience members have a chance to get up and share their stories too.  This month's featured readers are Silje Christofferson, Sebastian Hobbs and local favorite Catherine Matthias.  This months Fireside is brought to you by Ruby Peak Naturals, Silver Lake Bistro and Sugar Time Bakery.

Fishtrap Fireside is a free monthly event for Wallowa County writers to read and share their work. The program has enjoyed a tremendous following in the county and beyond. “The popularity of Fireside has surprised us,” says Fishtrap’s, Mike Midlo, “I think folks enjoy coming out to hear great stories written by their friends and neighbors.”

The community is encouraged to attend these events, enjoy light refreshments, and hear new work by local writers.
