Forest Health Evening Tour - Lostine Canyon
TOUR (June 3, Lostine) Forest Health Evening Tour - Lostine Canyon. Ever wonder what's killing trees in our region? Join Extension Forester John Punches for a walk in the woods and some hands-on exploration of common forest health issues, including stand density, root diseases, bark beetles, mistletoes, and perhaps some foliage feeding insects or vertebrate pests. We'll let the site define the specifics, and learn about identification and management. Come equipped for walking in the forest, even if the weather isn't perfect.
