HOLIDAY COLLAGE MAKING

Create a holiday (or not) collage using a variety of techniques and materials. Janis Carper, Wallowa county’s own triple threat—talented artist, musician, and writer, instructs a Saturday afternoon collage making workshop with an emphasis on design, layering, color, and transparency. Basic materials are provided, and students are encouraged to bring their imagination and any materials that inspire… photos, discarded books, old magazines, greeting cards, scraps of paper, buttons, old jewelry, fabric, etc;. This fun and engaging workshop has students leaving with their very own collage masterpiece—great for gift giving or keep for yourself!
