Learn to Play the Mountain Dulcimer w/ Heidi Muller

The mountain dulcimer is a sweet-sounding, three-stringed instrument with roots in the Appalachian mountains. It’s easy to learn, with no musical experience required! Heidi will teach you all the basics and students can typically play one or two simple songs in the first lesson. Music includes traditional tunes and familiar songs as we progress from one-finger melodies to using chords. Beginning and reviewing students welcome.

Rental dulcimers are available for $50, payable to instructor. To reserve a rental, please email heidi.muller.music@gmail.com. Instructor also has instruments for sale.

Heidi Muller is a nationally-known mountain dulcimer instructor and performer as well as a songwriter and guitarist. She has taught dulcimer for over 30 years and been an instructor at dulcimer festivals across the country.
