• June 4th (Thursday) 6–8pm: 1) Potluck supper; 2) Introductions & preliminary information; 3) Honey bee presentation by Dr. Melathopoulos. • June 5th (Friday) 5–8pm: 1) Process & techniques used for adding bees to the Oregon Bee Atlas; 2) Native Bee presentation by Dr. Melathopoulos. • June 6th (Saturday) 8am-5pm: 1) Meet for final instructions & convoy to survey area; 2) Survey native bees with experts; 3) Sample preservation for addition to the Oregon Bee Atlas; 4) Summary of noteworthy discoveries & event warp up.

This event is free and open to the public. An suggested donation of $25 at the door includes a 1-year membership to the Wallowa County Beekeepers, helping to support local apiculture & native pollinators.
