Nez Perce: Renewal & Return Opening

A “soft” unveiling of the major exhibit we are preparing for the State Capitol in Salem; Nez Perce in Oregon; Removal and Return. The small, colorful, and very dense exhibit will show on the second floor balcony for two months, and go to the Capitol later in the year.

We will also show off the new language key to the Nez Perce in the Wallowa exhibit that has been up for some time. A new museum virtual display will allow you to interact with the screen and listen to correct Nez Perce pronunciation and information about the places on the map and people and names mentioned in the exhibit text.
