Did you ever make recordings capturing Grandpa’s stories or family around the Thanksgiving table that are sitting in boxes in your basement? Maybe it was a live concert, a church sermon, or an interview with a senior about local history. Cassettes and reel-to-reel tapes can deteriorate and become unplayable.
Recording engineer Bob Webb will explain what he’s doing to preserve old recordings by transcribing them to digital formats and enhancing their sound. He’ll share clips of voices from Wallowa County’s history and interviews he did with local elders.
Come learn how you can preserve your aging tapes and videos into digital format for generations to come!
