Our next Into The Wallowas event is something special: a Trout Tour with local fisheries biologist and avid fly-fisherman, Ian Wilson. Have you ever wanted to learn how to cast a fly rod? Or what makes a healthy fish habitat? This event will take place on one of our conserved properties, located at the beautiful confluence of the Lostine and Wallowa Rivers.
Come spend the morning with us, where Ian will be giving a fascinating talk about fish native to this region, what makes a healthy habitat and how fishing can go hand-in-hand with caring for wildlife. We will also be giving a fly-fishing demo where you can learn casting techniques for fly fishing. Spots will be limited, so please RSVP to attend!
