Walk with a Doc

Wallowa County - GET OUT AND WALK! Every Wednesday from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m., Dr. Emily Sheahan, Medical Director of Population Health for Wallowa Memorial Hospital, will host “Walk with a Doc.” We will meet in front of the hospital at 12:30 pm, and Dr. Sheahan will host a brief discussion around a health topic important to our community’s well-being. After the discussion, we will head out on the walking path that encircles the hospital campus. This loop is approximately half a mile long, flat, and well equipped with resting benches along the way. This walk is appropriate for all fitness levels! During the walk, Dr. Sheahan is available and ready to answer your general health and well-being questions. She will not be answering any personal health questions that would be better addressed in a clinical appointment to protect your privacy. There are 100s of benefits of walking regularly.
