Wallowa County Weed Tour

The annual Wallowa County Weed Tour will be held Saturday June 14^th 2014, from 9 to 4.  Meet at Cloverleaf Hall at 9:00 for coffee and donuts, and learn how to calibrate your hand held, back pack and ATV sprayers. The tour then will be focused on the Zumwalt Prairie, with emphasis on the control of annual grasses in range and pasture land. Carpooling and a van will be available from the Cloverleaf to Zumwalt and back.
 
6 Pesticide recertification credits are available at the conclusion of the day. Wallowa County cost share forms, weed brochures and several weed and grass experts will be available to talk to. A Free lunch will be provided. The tour has always been a great way for folks to learn about the collaboration of all weed partners involved in controlling noxious weeds, and how noxious weeds that cause so much economic damage within Wallowa County.
