Music of Nature at the Confluence - Saturday, July 23rd: 9am-12pm
Immerse yourselves in the sound of nature! Explore the rhythms and tones that naturally occur in the outdoors with local musician and songwriter, Janis Carper. Birds, water, leaves and wind all create their own music and have inspired songwriters and musicians throughout history. We will identify these unique sounds and then work together to create our very own musical masterpiece.
Outings fill up fast, so please contact us to reserve your space. In addition, many of our outings have heavy sun exposure and include hiking on hilly uneven terrain; it is important to be aware of your physical limitations and come prepared. Please dress appropriately for the elements and for the outing. Wear sunscreen and hiking boots and don't forget to always carry water.
