"Water in the Desert"

Andie Madsen will be presenting her film, "Water in the Desert," at the Josephy Center.  The desert is in Morocco, and the film follows archeologists and contemporary Moroccans as they explore a very old way of moving water in hot, harsh climates. 
 
Andie Madsen is a documentary filmmaker based in Bozeman, Montana. She was born in Oregon and raised in Wallowa County before completing her undergraduate studies at Portland State University and going on to her graduate studies in Science & Natural History Filmmaking at Montana State University. Recently, Andie’s work has taken her to the United Kingdom, Finland, Morocco, and around the Rocky Mountain Region for documentary projects, contract work, and videography.
 
Andie will talk about the Montana State Program and show "Desert" and other short films. Admission by donation!
