Wildflower & Wildlife Hike

Wildflowers are in full bloom out on the Zumwalt Prairie, and you can have a front row view! Join us for our annual guided Wildflower & Wildlife hike next Friday, June 17th at 10am. Local botany and wildlife experts Heidi Schmalz and Janet Hohmann will be guiding us on a hike through the Zumwalt Prairie, while the wildflowers are in full bloom! We will learn about the beautiful flora on the prairie, as well as the wildlife that call this place home. We will be meeting at the Duckett Barn on The Nature Conservancy's Zumwalt Prairie Preserve at 10am on Friday, June 17th. We will be hiking Patti's Trail (2.3mi loop), and expect to wrap up around 12:30pm. Please note that high clearance 4x4 vehicles are recommended to drive there, as the road is rough.
