Your Legends and Lore: A Storytelling Workshop

For as long as people have been gathering together, we’ve shared the histories of our families and communities through the tradition of oral storytelling. Now it’s your turn. Join Fishtrap staff for a two-hour workshop where you will take a favorite story and craft it to share out loud at your next reunion, feast, or celebration. During our time together, we will explore the dos and don’ts of building a good story, discuss how to create effective story arcs, and discover ways to tell a story people will remember. No prior writing or public speaking experience required.
