Full-Time (reduced-hour schedule)
Hillock Insurance, an independent agency serving Wallowa County, OR, is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or Licensed Insurance Agent to join our dedicated team.
This role will primarily support our personal lines clients (home, auto, umbrella, etc.), with the opportunity to grow into health insurance (individual + Medicare) over time.
We’re a locally owned, relationship-driven agency that values long-term relationships—with both our clients and our team—and takes pride in guiding clients with clarity, care, and strong community roots.
Insurance experience is not required, but it is a bonus. If you are not currently licensed, we will support training and cover licensing costs after a 3-month trial period.
$22-27/hour depending on experience

Comfort with technology is a must. You don’t need to be an expert. Training will be provided for all insurance-specific software.
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Assist personal lines clients with policy questions, changes, and service requests
Communicate with clients in-person, by phone, and via email in a professional, friendly manner
Support clients through the claims process with empathy and clarity
Process policy changes (endorsements), take payments, and gather information for quotes
Support agents with administrative tasks and day-to-day operations
Maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality
3+ years of experience in a professional setting
Insurance experience or license (preferred, not required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
