JOB SUMMARY:
The Emergency Department (ED) Technician plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Under the direction of a physician and in collaboration with the nursing staff, the ED Technician performs direct patient care within their scope of practice.
This position assists in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, and contributes to patient and family education efforts. As an integral member of the emergency medical team, the ED Technician promotes a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to care, supporting the health and well-being of patients and their families.
