JOB SUMMARY:

The Rehabilitation Therapy Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the Rehabilitation Therapy Clinic, providing a welcoming and professional environment for patients and visitors.

This position is responsible for managing front office duties, including answering phones, registering patients and scheduling appointments. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Therapy Office Coordinator supports the overall function of the Clinic by assisting with basic clerical tasks and helping maintain cleanliness and organization alongside rehabilitation therapy staff.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting and assisting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answering and directing phone calls promptly and accurately
• Registering patients and verifying insurance and demographic information
• Scheduling, confirming and coordinating patient appointments
• Performing general clerical duties such as filing, scanning and data entry
• Assisting rehabilitation therapy staff with cleaning treatment rooms and equipment
• Helping maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the department

Rehabilitation Therapy Office Coordinator - Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accurate data entry skills and proficiency with computers required
• Previous office or administrative experience required
• Strong ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues 
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
• Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
